The AV Department delivers, sets up and takes down media equipment for classroom instruction and law school special events, and provides smart classroom support.

Technician Information

The Law Library's AV Technician position is a 20 hour per week position.  It is staffed by Mr. Zachary Knatt, who also works a 20-hour per week overseeing stacks maintenance and providing computer lab and circulation support.  As a back-up to Mr. Knatt, Mr. Richard Akers covers set-ups.  There is no AV support after 4:00p.m. on weekdays.  There is no AV support on weekends or after 4:00 p.m. on weekdays.

Requests for AV
To ensure equipment and technician availability for your event, it is advisable to place your requests as far in advance as you can; 24 hours notice is required.  For Monday events, please remember to submit your request by 8:00 am on the preceding Friday.  requests can be made by phone, e-mail, or in person by providing  a completed copy of the AV Request Form.  These services are offered subject to the availability of equipment and on the basis of first come first served.
