Do you need to get help with a research question, library services, your journal note, or print and online resources? Or, not sure what you're looking for? Our online chat service enables you to connect directly to a librarian through live-chat software.

Any question you might ask in person, via e-mail or by phone can be answered by one of our librarians, during normal reference hours. Our reference service is intended primarily for faculty, students and staff at the Howard University School of Law.

For others, it is limited to questions about the Library's collections or about the University. Please note that the reference librarians cannot provide legal advice.

For complex questions, we recommend that you ask a librarian in person or by phone.
