Tracy Lynne Woodard is happy to rejoin the Howard Law community as Research and Instruction Librarian. Prior to rejoining Howard, Tracy worked as a librarian in a DC law firm and the Department of Justice. Tracy hails from New England. She was born in Providence, RI. She earned a BA from Rhode Island College, an MS from Catholic University, and recently earned an MA from Georgetown University. After earning an MS in Library Science from Catholic University, Tracy was employed at Howard Law from 2002 – 2010 where she taught the legal research labs. Inspired by the Howard Law community’s dedication to service, Tracy joined the Peace Corps in Mozambique where she learned to understand, read and speak a basic level of Portuguese, while teaching English at the local school in a village in Namapa, Nampula Province.
