The Uniform Bar Examination (UBE)
The Uniform Bar Examination has been adopted by most jurisdictions.
Prepared and coordinated by the NCB Examiners, the UBE is composed of the Multistate Essay Examination (MEE), two Multistate Performance Test (MPT) tasks, and the Multistate Bar Examination (MBE). It is uniformly administered, graded, and scored by user jurisdictions, which may add supplemental components.
The MBE is a component of the Uniform Bar Exam (UBE). Jurisdictions that administer the UBE weight the MBE component 50%.
